BbWorld 2010 – See you there?

Next week I have the very fortunate opportunity to attend BbWorld 2010.  It’s always an outstanding event that brings together thought leaders, experts, and institutions from around the world that are leveraging Blackboard in teaching and learning.  There are all sorts of benefits of attending the conference.  Here are just a few reasons why this conference is so valuable.  BbWorld provides unique opportunities to:

  • Network with colleagues and peers from other institutions.
  • Learn new strategies for administrating, using, and extending Blackboard.
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest emerging technologies.
  • Discover best practices in the use of Blackboard in teaching.
  • Interact directly with Blackboard representatives.

This year the conference is held at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Orlando Florida from July 13-16, 2010.

Here are a few activities from the conference next week that we plan to be involved with:

  1. Ask Dr C Booth – Eric Kunnen will be spending some time at the booth connecting with peers from other institutions and sharing best practices as well as experiences upgrading to Blackboard 9.1.
